Course title: "Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls & Reinforced Soil Slopes (LRFD and ASD Design Approaches)"
This 3-day course presents the latest national recommendations for design and construction practice for reinforced soil structures. It includes a full day of hands-on instruction in using programs MSEW and ReSSA, licensed to the FHWA as well as State DOT's. This course is offered through the College of Engineering, University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware.

Course title: “Ground Improvement Techniques”
This following ground improvement materials and systems are presented during this 3 day interactive technical workshop: Prefabricated vertical drains, light weight fill materials, vibro-compaction, dynamic compaction, stone columns, deep soil mixing, column supported embankments, soil nailing, grouting, mechanically stabilized earth walls, reinforced soil slopes.

Course title: "Soil Slope and Embankment Design"
This course is provided by the National Highway Institute (FHWA) and it is offered to US State DOT's. Though this course does not deal with soil reinforcement, the slope stability aspects are demonstrated using program ReSSA(2.0). Since January 2003, this course has been offered in Sacramento, California; Denver, Colorado; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Salt Lake City, Utah; Cheyenne, Wyoming; Columbus, Ohio; Carson City, Nevada; Montgomery, Alabama; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
