GeoCoPS(3.0) runs on Windows 98, Millennium, XP, NT 4.0, 2000, 2003 and Vista operating systems. To install the program, the user must have access as an administrator. GeoCoPS is distributed on a CD-ROM.
Use of GeoCoPS must be licensed. GeoCoPS runs only if a hardware device (key or dongle) is attached to a USB port. This device is provided with the software and it constitutes a license.
Each copy of GeoCoPS has its own unique license number.
